Glass tile is gaining in popularity and is now a common material used in San Antonio, Texas tile installations. It’s especially popular on walls, and comes in all shapes and sizes. Among the styles of tile regularly installed by San Antonio tile contractors are clear glass, bubble glass and frosted glass. Clear glass is translucent and shiny, and can be tinted any color you choose. However, you should make sure that whatever is on the other side of the tile is displayable. Bubble glass has small air bubbles which add texture to the tiles. Frosted glass is opaque and works well for windows on bathroom doors or for shower walls because it’s not see-through.
