When performing a tile installation in your Henderson, Nevada home, experts recommend allowing the adhesive to set for 24 hours before applying grout. Once it sets, spread the grout liberally, making sure to push it into the gaps. After you’ve applied it it’s time to clean up. With a flat sponge, wipe away any excess grout. Henderson tile contractors advise polishing the new tile with a soft cloth after the grout has hardened. If you’re replacing a broken tile, first dig out the grout surrounding the damaged tile. Use a sharp, pointed tool, and be careful not to cause damage to other tiles. Then chip away at the remainder of the broken tile until you can remove the pieces. Insert a new tile and perform the previous-mentioned steps.
