If you have a tiled floor with grout that you never liked or if the color of the grout has faded or become stained over the years, Phoenix, Arizona tile contractors recommend changing the color by permanently staining it. The product which does this is called “grout stain” or “grout dye” and is available in hundreds of colors and shades. Before applying it to your Phoenix tile installation make sure to clean off the grout joints and remove any old sealer. Apply the dye with a brush until you get the desired color. Be aware that although excess color can be cleaned from glazed and porcelain tile, it will stain more porous tiles like stone.
