- Company Overview: Working from his home, essentially as a manufacturer's representative, he recognized a need to warehouse products to support better service and pricing for the manufactures that he represented. A few major companies that he represented were convinced that local inventories would help to increase sales in the Southeastern territory and they agreed to inventory products in Mr. Zumpano's warehouse. To support these commitments, Mr. Zumpano invested in the first company showroom and warehouse, totaling 4300 sq. feet. This first expansion took place at the Warren Drive facility. Investment in staff and facilities were made to insure that the manufactures, that had confidance in his vision, where supported through world class people and facilities.
Due to Mr. Zumpano’s vision, the company experienced a tremendous growth curve supporting continuous increases in the size of the warehouse and showroom. Current warehouse space, in excess of 50,000 sq. feet, house most of the company's inventory, except the Mexican tile located in the company's Laredo, Texas warehouse. Five other strategically located showrooms, four with ample warehouse space, in the Atlanta metropolitan area are exclusive company stores. This strategy has enabled Zumpano Enterprises, Inc. to provide unparalleled product and services to their customers.
The company sells to retail customers, dealers, and installation distributors locally. The company also has major distributors throughout the United States. The company insures that it supports its’ customers through a partnering arrangement that has been the corner stone of their success for more than 25 years.
